"When the Department of Tourism & Hospitality was awarded the National Tourism Award 2025 for Best Tourism & Hospitality Institute in Pakistan, it was recognition not just of a department, but of a vision, that tourism education rooted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's own mountains, valleys and communities can lead the country.

Over the past years, our students and faculty have organized national conferences, led field expeditions across the Hazara region, and brought policymakers and industry leaders to the same table as our students.
